JILLIAN A. LANE WHITE

 

Jillian A. Lane White is a digital media producer and strategist who specializes in nonprofit communications and advocacy media. She graduated from Wesleyan University in 2008 with a Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Psychology. Jillian’s capstone project was a multimedia survey of community responses to violence against Indigenous women in the United States and Canada. In 2014, Jillian completed her Master’s degree in Media Studies at The New School, concentrating in advocacy media, documentary practices (oral history), and human rights research and reporting. Jillian is an experienced community organizer who is deeply committed to social justice, peace building, and intersectional liberation movements. She believes that we are all the experts of our own experiences and is interested in developing community based methods of conducting human rights research.
